Quick striper update from Mack Farr.

Quick striper update from Mack Farr.

Here is a quick update to the fishing report: last weeks patterns are holding up well, but here is another method that has been very strong. The Stripers are piling up on 35 foot humps, as you can see in the posted screenshot. This will work all over the lower end, humps, points, and flats in the 35 foot range are holding these nice groups of fish ! They are a sucker for the Capt Mack’s 4 arm 9 bait u-rig, pull it 100 to 120 feet behind the boat and hang on. If you are using Lakemaster Charts highlight the 30 to 40 foot range and this is an easy, productive pattern! Good fishing! Capt Mack

Fishing for deep stripers over the river channel.

I took some good friends of mine fishing “Tattoo’s by  Randy” and his friends. We never didn’t see more than 2 or 3 fish at a time on the fish finder. The game changer for us was targeting  the deepest fish that showed up on the graph over the river channel. This is always a great pattern to follow in the later part of summer.
